Today in AP Literature the class took our end of quarter test.

Today in AP Literature the class mostly just continued reading the color purple. We took notes also.

Today in AP Literature we continued and finished doing our group interpretations on our assigned letters in the novel The color purple.

Mr.Reese was absent from class and we were left to complete more questions from our “the color purple” study guide.

Today in AP Literature the class spent majority of the block looking over our thesis and grammar checks from some of our papers. After we finished the class continued reading “The color purple “.

Today in AP literature the class started reading the world famous story “The color Purple” I personally really liked how the story started off very graphic from the rape scene in the first letter. We read all the way up until the 13th letter. I hope we continue reading tomorrow.

Today in AP Literature the class and broke into four groups to Analyze the poem written by sylvia Plath. Each group had its own stanza and they where assigned to be able to teach and explain the stanza.

Today in AP Literature we started analyzing the poem You’re by Sylvia Plath. We broke into groups and analyzed together.

Today in AP Literature we sort of we back to last weeks mirror assignment and crest our own poem. We had to choose an object that’s in our life and crest a pion from the objects point of veiw. The process was difficult but everyone’s poem came out pretty well.

Today I spent my first 3 blocks taking my ACT work keys test .

I see a smart, goofy, sometimes retarded, always playful, future physical therapist. I see someone who as soon he was instructed to take out his phone and open his camera to take a funny picture. I also see a young man who is never pleased with himself. A young man who is so use to being let down that he expects less from others. A young man who all his life just want a second chance in the area that makes him who he is. I see a young man who loves hard and cares for everyone and anything he’s around himself with. I See a young man that’s been hurt before. Are young man who started to give up on everything including himself. Who walks around every day as if nothing is wrong, but But only happy when he is surrounded by his loved one. I see a man who is easily influenced by also stubborn. I see myself .

Today in AP Literature the class took a field trip😌. We all went to playground in the park and watched an amazing play of the life of Frankenstein . The play gave me all types of emotions. But in all I really enjoyed myself.

Today in AP Literature we finished our thesis and claim paragraph poster. We was unable to present to others because we ran out of time but we will continue friday.

Today in AP literature we finished reading the play fences. TROY IS DEADDDDD😲. The way he died is still unknown just yet but most likely a heart attack. Cory came back from the funeral and he didn’t want to go to the funeral.

Today in AP Literature we we had a sub and was left book work from Mr.reese.

Today in AP literature the spent majority of the class block analyzing an essay rubric. We used prior essays from our class as examples to further our learning process.

 Today instead of going to class ,all the seniors attended an Auburn university college recruitment meeting.

Today in AP Literature, the class started analyzing and and reading the play fences. We all got to scene three and we will continue reading tomorrow. I personally like the play so far.

Today’s in AP Literature, the class got into our groups and reviewed “the yellow wallpaper” one last time before taking and group quiz.

Today in AP Literature we had a half a class. So instead of starting a brand new lesson we played a major on the short story “the yellow wallpaper”.

Today in AP Literature we finished reading the short story “ The yellow wallpaper “. They story is pretty much about a women who goes crazy . Later analyzed the story and had a group discussion of the book and how we can relate.

Today in AP Literature we completed the play Macbeth . The story ended kind of disappointing but it’s was an amazing play to read. The class also took notes from the play.

Today in AP Literature we had a class assignment were we all shuffled ideas and came up with a character to a story we would later write? We took notes on everything about our character (s) , setting, and antagonist. Later we actually started writing our story and was told to finish at home. Here is my story...

Today in AP Literature we broke off in groups to create a mini scene from the play Macbeth. The plot twist was that we had to act as if we were celebrities. We will Finish  and present tomorrow in class.

Today In AP Literature the class were again given parts to read in the pls “Macbeth”. I got the chance to play Macbeth and there were mixed emotions about the read. From what the class read at the end of act one Macbeth and lady Macbeth plotted and executed in the plan to kill king Duncan. After reading for a while the class was given an assessment to find quotes and phrases from what we had read from the poem.

Today in AP Literature the class we where asked questions about the event know as 9/11. Mr.Rease typed up questions and we answered them during a class discussion. He asked us what we know about American hero and patriotism.

Today in AP Literature the class started reviewing the poem Macbeth by the famous William Shakespeare. We went over notes and other important information we needed before actually reading the poem. Tomorrow we will start the read in class.

Today I’m AP Literature our class went into a south Alabama recruitment meeting . The speaker gave us key information about wen is the right time to apply and other things needed after acceptance. She also takes about how we need a 19 on our act and at least a 2.5 for our gpa.

Today in AP Literature the class went over sonnet. Later in the class we all started ted creating our own sonnet that we took home to finish for homework. We will hopefully get to share our poems with each other tomorrow.

An outside of just looking for a friend
Noticed a lonely soul just from a far.
Came when needed just to give a helping hand.
 
 Our friendship grew strong without trying
 Creating memories and gaining trust .

To being in my face as a new foe.
Telling fibs as if you were being bold.

September 3rd, 2019.
Today in AP Literature we learned about the different structures of poems. We also read and analyzed a poem by William Shakespeare.

Today in AP Literature the last two groups finished presenting there poems by Emily Dickerson. After the two groups presented we got into our two partner groups and finished revising our old test.

Today in class we did a group assignment. The assignment was to analyze a poem by Emily Dickinson. After we analyzed our poem we presented to the class about what we all got from reading the poem. Only two groups got a chance to present do to time. The rest will continue tomorrow.

The poem “I felt a funeral in my brain”

Today in class we went more in depth about the poem “ I felt a funeral in my brain”. The poem is basically about a person who is suffering from intense depression. She’s trying to fight her problems but is slowly loosing her mind. She tries separating herself from others but that’s isn’t working. That is what I learned  today in AP Literature.

My personal reading preference is something with suspense and action. I love novels that have a strong message for our society. Authors like Jacki Delecki , Patrick j. White, and Chris Bradford are some of my favorites. My poems preferences are a little bit different though . I love romance poems and  hard knock life poems that motivates me to do better in life. I tend to get side tracked with books that don’t have a meaning behind them and I have a bad habit to procrastinate. So in conclusion I love literature in itself and reading is a major part of my life.
